Makita 18V x2 LXT Brushless Cordless Miter Saw Kit

The Xsl06 features an efficient BL™ Brushless motor that achieves speeds of up to 4, 400 RPM for quick and precise cutting. Automatic speed Change™ technology adjusts the cutting speed and torque under load for optimal performance. The saw also boasts a unique 2-steel rail sliding system that provides smooth and highly accurate cuts, along with a compact design that allows the saw to be placed flush against a wall.

The direct-drive gearbox and guard system enable increased cutting capacities, including vertical cutting up to 5-1/4” and crown molding cutting up to 6-5/8” nested, the largest in its class. With the ability to crosscut a 4x12 at 90 degrees and offering miter angles from 0° to 60° left and right, the Xsl06 provides versatility for various cutting tasks. The bevel Lock located in the front of the saw allows for quick adjustments from 0° to 48° (left and right).

The blade features a high-quality 60T carbide-tip, while a built-in laser indicates the line-of-cut and improved dust Collection capability ensures a cleaner workspace. The large-sized aluminum base enhances cutting stability for more efficient performance. Additionally, the electric brake provides added convenience. The Xsl06 is part of Makita's expanding 18V Lithium-Ion system, offering the world's largest cordless tool system powered by 18V Lithium-Ion slide-style batteries.

For enhanced tool performance and extended battery life, Makita has implemented Star protection Computer controls™, a communication technology that safeguards against overloading, over-discharging, and overheating. The tool can also be powered by Makita 18V LXT® and compact Lithium-Ion batteries with Star protection. With two LXT batteries, x2 LXT technology delivers more power, speed, and run time without the limitations of a cord. The BL Brushless motor eliminates carbon brushes, running cooler and more efficiently for longer life. Automatic speed change technology ensures optimal cutting performance, with up to 334 cuts per charge in 2x4 spf and up to 192 cuts per charge in 2x12 spf lumber using two 5.0Ah batteries.
